History and tradition

Since 1976, the city of Pucioasa has hosted and organized the longest control line scale model aeroplanes competition (F4B class) in Romania,
"Henri Coandă Memorial" National Competition.

The competition is named after Henri Coandă, the Romanian inventor and aviation pioneer. This year, our competition would have reached its 45th edition. In honor of this amazing number and since VIRTUAL COANDĂ's first edition was an unexpected success, we are glad to announce that we are coming back in 2021 with the 2nd edition of the competition. We are excited and we hope so are you!

So, come join us in this second year of our virtual competition and hopefully we will also be able to see each other soon in what will surely be a memorable face to face competition!
